New Story Published: New Georgetown Program Synergizes Interdisciplinary Training in the Sciences

A new story highlights the potential of a highly competitive and prestigious training grant that the National Institutes of Health has awarded Georgetown University.

The grant will invigorate the workforce and inspire students from diverse backgrounds to pursue doctoral degrees in the biomedical sciences by funding the Georgetown University Initiative for Maximizing Student Development (IMSD). This program will train a diverse, multidisciplinary group of graduate students, targeting enrollment of individuals underrepresented in biomedical research.
