The Medical Center’s Office of Communications represents and promotes the faculty, research, education, programs, students and policies of Georgetown University Medical Center to a variety of internal and external groups.
News Media
The Office of Communications works with the news media to promote research and education at GUMC, and respond to reporters’ inquiries for faculty expertise and institutional comment.
Internal Communications
We manage, maintain and determine the strategic direction of the medical center’s website and social media. We also oversee internal communications and publish the e-newsletters Health Sciences Weekly (weekly news and announcements) and GUMC Connects (weekly events digest).
