What led you to your position here at GUMC?: A Georgetown alumnus told me about the position.
In your role, how do you interact with the GUMC community?: I work with the DNAP faculty and students, and the School of Nursing staff.
What do you enjoy most about your job?: At the risk of sounding cliche, it is the people. Everyone, in particular the DNAP faculty, has been so warm, kind and helpful.
What is a skill you have that might surprise people?: This is not necessarily a skill, but I was previously a Teach For America middle school teacher.
What did you learn about yourself as a professional during the pandemic?: That I am more adaptable and resilient than I could have ever imagined.
What do you like to do in your free time?: I enjoy spending time with friends, staying active, watching movies and cheering on the Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves.
What is your greatest achievement (personal or professional)?: Being able to see my former students graduate high school.
What is the best lesson you have learned from working at GUMC?: To see what effective collaboration looks like in action.
