Robert Kraft To Receive NFL Players Association Georgetown Lombardi Award Nov. 3 in Washington

WASHINGTONGeorgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and the NFL Players Association will present the inaugural NFL Players Association Georgetown Lombardi Award to Robert Kraft, chairman and CEO of the New England Patriots on November 3 at the 26th Annual Lombardi Gala in Washington.

Where: 26th Annual Lombardi Gala, Washington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW

When: Saturday, November 3, 2012

  • 6:30 p.m. – Mr. Kraft, NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith, and Georgetown Lombardi Director Louis M. Weiner, M.D., are available for a limited time; please arrive by 6:30.
  • 7:45 p.m. – Camera set-up (mult box available) for dinner and awards ceremony
  • 8:00 p.m. – Dinner and awards ceremony begins (NFLPA Lombardi Award after dinner)

The NFL Players Association Georgetown Lombardi Award was established to honor a leader in the sports industry whose life and family have been touched by cancer, and who encourages cancer research, prevention and treatment through awareness and philanthropy.
