On Monday, November 18, the Twelfth Annual GUMC Convocation will bring together faculty, students and staff for a unified celebration of academic prowess, recognizing unique and outstanding achievements in research, education and service.

Honoring a Leader in Fighting HIV/AIDS

This year’s recipient of the Cura Personalis Award is Wafaa El-Sadr, MD, MPH, MPA, University Professor of Epidemiology and Medicine, founder and director of ICAP at Columbia University, director of Columbia’s Global Health Initiative at the Mailman School of Public Health, and the Dr. Mathilde Krim-amfAR Chair in Global Health.
