ACA Expansion Did Not Improve Access to Complex Surgeries for Low-Income/Minority Patients
A new study published by a team led by Georgetown University Medical Center researchers finds that despite expectations following the Affordable Care Act (ACA)’s Medicaid expansion, there was no increased use of complex surgical procedures at high volume hospitals among ethnic/racial minorities and low-income populations.

Georgetown’s Health Justice Alliance, O’Neill Institute Welcome World Bank President Jim Kim
Georgetown’s Health Justice Alliance and the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law hosted a screening of the film “Bending the Arc,” about the founding of the NGO Partners in Health, on March 7.
