How Two Doctors Are Using Research To Push the Field of Medicine
Ever since their own families grappled with their own health crises, Dr. Ralf Martz Sulague (G’23) and Dr. Allison Fitzgerald (M’23, G’23) wanted to pursue careers taking care of patients’ health. But they both knew they wanted to make an impact outside of the doctor’s office and came to Georgetown to expand the reach of their MD degrees.

School of Nursing Graduate Will Practice Cura Personalis as a Newly Commissioned Naval Officer
Sarah Bryant (N’23) knew at a young age that she wanted to be both a nurse and naval officer. Georgetown gave her the opportunity to pursue both passions while putting into practice the Jesuit value of cura personalis, care of the whole person. Bryant was commissioned May 22 as an ensign in the United States Navy during a ceremony at the Jefferson Memorial.
