Medical Center Staff Honored with Vicennial Awards

(October 25, 2024) — The Staff Vicennial Medal recognizes colleagues who have dedicated 20 years of service to Georgetown University.
In January, the President’s Office moved to bestow the Vicennial Medal on all staff. Previously, this honor was only given to AAPs and faculty.
On October 25, this year’s honorees, plus staff who would have received their medals at 20 years if the policy had been in place at that time, were invited to participate in a ceremony at which all staff with between 21 and 46 years of service were honored.
