Georgetown Physician Comments on Robin Roberts To Return to Good Morning America
Today, ABC Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts announced her return to the popular morning show following a medical leave of absence. Roberts was diagnosed last year with myelodysplastic syndrome, or MDS, and received a bone marrow transplant to treat the blood disorder.

Cancer patients, their families, advocates, health care providers, researchers, media and the public are invited to the 3rd Annual Ruesch Center Symposium on November 30 and December 1, 2012, that seeks to demystify the research process and encourage more people to participate in cancer clinical trials. The symposium, titled “Empowering Patients Through Clinical Trials,” is sponsored by Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
