Subramaniam Interviewed on Link Between Cell Phones and Brain Tumors

A recent study published in the Journal of Oncology suggests a link between cell phone use and brain tumors. According to Deepa Subramaniam, director of the brain tumor center at Lombardi, the study did find a statistically significant association between the development of brain tumors and the use of phones but there is one major flaw--

"They look at the past and ask people to call their use," she told WUSA9. "It would be better to conduct an ongoing study that asks people to keep a diary of cell phone use over time and see how develops brain tumors."
