Several Media Outlets Feature Washington’s Leading Ladies and the ‘Capital Breast Care Center’

The “Gift of Life” breakfast, the signature fundraiser of Georgetown’s ‘Capital Breast Cancer Center’ was recently held at the Grand Hyatt in D.C. for nearly 600 attendees.
Some high-profile members spoke at the event including Michelle Fenty, president of the CBCC Advisory Council, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Shultz, D-Fla., and Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La. “In a strange way breast cancer is a unifying disease,” said Fenty. “It affects all women regardless of age, race, national origin, religion and socio-economic status.”
Several local, national and international media outlets covered the event including WRC-TV, Politico, Huffington Post, Washington Examiner, Scripps-Howard, Irish Times, Washington Life and Voice of America.
