The Washington Times Speaks to Jo Anne Davis about the Option of Home Birth

A recent article published in The Washington Times suggests the issue of home birth has become a heated topic of discussion. Currently, the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) has denounced home births as a result of safety concerns.

Jo Anne Davis, a certified nurse widwife and assistant professor at NHS, urged that hospitals should provide a flexible network of care ensuring that, "the connection between home and hospital should be seamless."
