Georgetown’s Carol Taylor Presented at the National Press Foundation’s Cancer Issues 2009

Carol Taylor, director of the Center for Clinical Bioethics, was featured in an article in the Grand Rapids Press this week regarding her recent presentation at the National Press Foundation’s annual Cancer Issues Conference. Taylor's presentation centered upon the issues of palliative care and its place within the ongoing health care debate taking place in the United States.

Taylor advocated for discussions about end-of-life issues and expressed her desire for the health care system to improve their care of terminal patients.
