Georgetown Women in Medicine Held Annual Welcome Reception

On Sept. 16, 2009 Georgetown Women in Medicine (GWIM) hosted its annual Wine and Cheese Welcome Reception. Many women faculty--old and new--mingled, discussed GWIM's upcoming year and their desire to promote the professional advancement of women faculty at Georgetown.
GWIM meets on a monthly basis and holds various workshops and seminars that address key issues in women's medicine. GWIM also gives women at Georgetown the opportunity to network with other faculty.
