Multiple Media Outlets Consider New Research from Furth and LeMoine

A new study published by Priscilla Furth, professor of oncology, and Jennifer LeMoine, a postdoctoral fellow at Lombardi, received coverage from a number of news outlets. The study suggests that cancer treatment is not a barrier to a woman maintaining or improving her cardiovascular health. The Los Angeles Times Health Blog and HealthDay both carried stories on the study and an upcoming article in Good Housekeeping will feature the research. LeMoine's work investigating the positive link between cancer and exercise was recently profiled on the GUMC homepage.
