About the GUMC Update
Thank you for visiting the GUMC Update. The Update provides the GUMC community with the latest events and news from our campus.
Here are some important things you should know about the GUMC Update:
1. You can access the GUMC Update anytime by visiting: http://gumc.georgetown.edu/update. Starting in May, a weekly newsletter featuring the top news from the Update and other GUMC sites will be available to your email inbox.
2. Two sections of the Update are updated on a real-time basis as news happens. Both the "In the News" and "Feature Articles" share the latest media interviews and news from our community. Be sure to submit your media clips or published papers as soon as you know about them to the GUMC Office of Communications at gumccomm@georgetown.edu.
3. You can add your department events to the Update. Simply click on the "list your event" event link and fill out the short submission form. Once it's reviewed by GUMC staff, the information will be posted to the events calendar. Please allow 24 hours.
4. The feature story (cover story of GUMC), Quiz, Getting to Know You, and Dr. Federoff's weekly column, Translations, will be updated on the first Tuesday of each month and you will continue to receive an email about the new content. Don't forget to take the quiz! Winners will receive a gift certificate to the Coffee Break.
