Opportunity for Faculty to Have a Professional Digital Photo Portrait Taken

February 27, 2009

In an effort to respond to the requests of various departments and individuals, the Main Campus Office of Communications has organized an opportunity for faculty to have a professional digital photo portrait taken. The University's photographer will be available to take portraits of main campus faculty so that photographs may be incorporated into individual faculty records within the Explore system and be made available directly to departments for future use. Any faculty member who wishes to have a high-quality photo available will be able to take advantage of this opportunity. Faculty do not need to sign up ahead of time. Photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis on Wednesday, March 4 and Thursday, April 23 from 9 am to 3 pm in the President’s Room, adjacent to Riggs Library in Healy Hall. There will be a professional backdrop and lights. It should only take a few minutes of time. Faculty will be able to consult with the photographer about the best image taken.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Communications at (202) 687-4328 or gucomm@georgetown.edu.
