Liu Reacts to New Breast Cancer Research

HealthDay spoke to Minetta Liu, assistant professor of oncology, about a new study where scientists successfully made breast tumor cells, which had previously been resistant, sensitive to the cancer drug tamoxifen. "[Research] groups have been looking to restore positivity, to open the door to treatment with tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors," Liu told HealthDay. "The findings are very exciting."
