Dahlgren Memorial Library Launches New READ Posters

October marked National Medical Librarians Month, and Dahlgren Memorial Library observed the occasion by releasing a new series of READ posters featuring
The books and people represented by the new posters range from student James Martin and Pathologies of Power: Health, Human Rights, and the New War on the Poor to Father Paul McCarren, S.J., and
Describing his choice of book, Father McCarren (pictured) said, “Trollope charms us into facing how foolish we are. He chats about his characters’ worries, crotchets and obsessions so beguilingly that I laugh right along with him. Only after I’ve laughed for some time does it suddenly hit me: ‘Wait, these people are just like me!’ I read on, but not quite so smugly.”
