Georgetown Women in Medicine Currently Accepting Nominations for Annual Awards

Georgetown Women in Medicine (GWIM) requests nominations for the annual Estelle Ramey Mentorship Award. Nominations may be male or female Georgetown University Medical Center or Georgetown University Hospital faculty members who have provided outstanding encouragement, support and mentorship and who have promoted and challenged GUMC women faculty to reach their maximum professional potential.
This year, GWIM has introduced a new annual award, to be given to a GUMC/GUH female faculty member who has had outstanding professional achievements. The Georgetown Women in Medicine Outstanding Achievement Award will recognize a female member within the GUMC/GUH faculty who has demonstrated outstanding achievement through her research, education or service, who is recognized at a national or international level, and who has also contributed to the Georgetown community.
Nominations are due November 3, 2008. For more information, click here.
Awards will be presented at the Georgetown Women in Medicine's Annual Awards Reception on December 4, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the Lombardi Atrium.
