Annual School of Medicine Reunion To Feature Systems Medicine Discussion with Howard Federoff

The Georgetown University Alumni Association recently announced the itinerary for the School of Medicine Alumni Reunion Weekend , which honors the alumni returning from the classes of 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, and 2003. Click here to learn more about the reunion weekend, including a schedule of events and information on registering.

A variety of events are scheduled for the weekend, including tours, lectures, speeches, and discussions, among others. Members of the GUMC community, as well as alumni, are invited to attend "Georgetown University Medicine at the Leading Edge: Systems Medicine" at 2:00 p.m. in the Med-Dent Building on Friday, October 24. Howard J. Federoff, executive vice president for health sciences , will lead a discussion about the future of Georgetown University Medicine. This event will be followed by a panel discussion about the ethical considerations of systems medicine at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 25, will feature a fall-spirited picnic lunch on the Podium for alumni and community members. The picnic starts at noon and will include activities for the entire family. Click here to register for these events.
