NHS Professors Meet With Education Minister

On Monday, June 16, Kathryn Ellis (pictured left), director of the Family Nurse Practitioner Program, and Colleen Norton (pictured right), associate professor of nursing, met with Pehin Abdul Rahman Taib, Minister of Education in Brunei.

The minister and a delegation from the country visited St. Mary's Hall to learn more about undergraduate and graduate nursing education at Georgetown University and in the United States. In addition, the group visited the O'Neill Family Foundation Clinical Simulation Center to see the Georgetown University Simulator (GUS), a fully robotic patient simulator.

Also during the visit to campus, the group traveled to Georgetown University School of Medicine to learn about medical education.
