Two New Faculty Members Inducted into MAGIS Society

Two faculty members were inducted into the MAGIS Society of Master Teachers on Thursday, May 15. Congratulations to William A. Ayers, Professor Emeritus of Medicine, and John S. Dillon, Professor Emeritus of Medicine.

The MAGIS Society of Master Teachers honors physicians and biomedical scientists dedicated to the care of others and society. MAGIS, a Latin adverb meaning "more greatly," is a shortened form of the Jesuit motto A.M.D.G.: ad majorem Dei gloriam or "towards the greater glory of God."
