ARRA Reporting Requirements
NIH would like to remind you that all grantee institutions who received NIH awards funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) are responsible for submitting quarterly reports to the government at the FederalReporting.gov Web site beginning October 1, 2009.
As a prerequisite to submitting reports, grantee institutions are required to register at FederalReporting.gov. We encourage institutions to register now, since there may be delays as the October reporting period approaches. Institutions will need their DUNS and Central Contractor Registration (CCR) numbers to register. If you have questions during the registration process, contact the FederalReporting.gov helpdesk.
Remember that the quarterly reporting requirement is a term and condition of award and also fulfills Section 1512 of ARRA. To help you meet your reporting obligations, HHS and NIH are developing a Readiness Tool that will provide data stored in our electronic systems. Until the tool is released (anticipated to be at the end of September), you can find much of this information on the NIH RePORT Recovery Act site – download the “ALL NIH Recovery Act Project Information” report. Additional information can be found on our Recovery Act Recipient Reporting Web page, including a recently updated NIH Data Dictionary, sample reports and FAQs
