Golden Apple
What Is the Golden Apple Award?
The Golden Apple Award is presented annually by each class to a member of the faculty whose outstanding professional and personal qualities have enhanced the medical education of the members of the class.
*Third and fourth years should note that a new Affiliates' Golden Apple Award has been added for 2007! This award honors a clinical professor specifically from an affiliate hospital (Washington Hospital Center, Virginia Hospital Center, Fairfax INOVA, Veterans Administration, and Walter Reed) or affiliate clinic who has significantly contributed to your education. This award is in addition to the Golden Apple Award for the third and fourth year classes.
