Imaging and Device Technologies

Mission:
The Imaging Science and Information Systems (ISIS) Center is a medical research and development organization that specializes in information and imaging technology for personal healthcare, public healthcare, and national biosecurity. The center's work is focused in the areas of global biosurveillance, medical informatics, imaging science, and medical robotics. The research team manages more than 50 research projects under the auspices of nine research divisions (and two adminstrative divisions). These divisions include the Computer-aided Interventions and Medical Robotics division, the eHealth and Telemedicine division, the Advanced Cancer Imaging division, the Computer-aided Diagnosis and Imaging division, the Information Assurance and Informatics division, the Health Information Systems Enterprise Architecture division, the Integrated Biodefense division, the Information Technology and Engineering division, and the Technology assessment and Management division.
