    University Hospital's new relationship with MedStar
    In July '00, MedStar assumed ownership of the hospital. The hospital retained its name "Georgetown University Hospital" and continues to be the primary teaching hospital for the Georgetown University Medical School. There is no change in radiology or neuroradiology governance and operation. The hospital is now witnessing a smoother clinical operation. New capital equipment investment in the radiology department has improved operation and service.
