Neurosurgery & Neurology Grand Rounds
This is a weekly, formal one hour lecture given by Georgetown University Medical faculty or invited speakers discussing ongoing research projects, cutting edge technology or general interest topics in the fields of neurology, neurosurgery, or n euroradiology.
ENT Tumor Board
This weekly conference brings together a team of physicians, usually from the departments of otolaryngology, medical oncology, radiation medicine, pathology and neuroradiology to evaluate, diagnose and treatment planning for patients with head and neck cancer.
Brain Tumor Board
This bi-monthly conference combines a team of physicians to evaluate, diagnose and plan treatment for patients with brain tumors. Participants include physicians from neurosurgery, medical oncology, pathology, endocrinology, radiation medicine and neuroradiology.
Spine Conference
This monthly conference combines a team of physicians to evaluate, diagnose and plan treatment for patients with complex spinal disorders. Active participants include physicians from departments of neurosurgery, pathology, orthopedic spine surgery, radiation medicine and neuroradiology.
Neuroradiology Resident Lecture
This weekly conference consists of a neuroradiology staff / fellows offering didactic lectures to radiology residents, neuroradiology fellows and medical students.
Neuroradiology Case Conference
This is a monthly conference organized in conjunction with the neurosurgery department. Neuroradiology residents, fellows and staff present the interesting cases of the month. The cases are shown as unknowns. The conference serves to practice and refine the diagnostic approach.
Neurovascular Conference
This is a monthly conference, attended by staff and trainees of the neurology, neurosurgery and neuroradiology departments. It is conducted by Dr. Vance Watson. Patients who underwent endovascular or other forms of interventional treatments, are presented and discussed.
Endocrinology Conference
This monthly conference is attended by endocrinologists, pathologists, neuroradiologists, radiation medicine representatives and other specialties. Individual cases are discussed with focus on diagnosis and therapy.
