Avram H. Mack, M.D. has been selected for as this year's recipient of the Association for Academic Psychiatry Junior Faculty Development Award. He was selected from a very strong set of applicants and this reward represents a very high achievement. The selection process for this award places a great value on outstanding leaders, educators, researchers, and clinicians in the field of psychiatry. The AAP Junior Faculty Development Award is a two-year award.

Dr. Stacey Kaltman was awarded the John Eisenberg Memorial Career Development Award on December 5, 2006. The Eisenberg Award, given by the Georgetown Women in Medicine, is a competetive award for junior faculty members that provides funding to attend the Association of American Medical College's Early Career Women Faculty Professional Development Seminar. The three day seminar, which was held in July 2006 in Washington DC, provided training in leadership and professional development.
