Research Interests: Dr Fugh Berman is interested in herb-drug interactions, Complementary and Alternative Medicine and women's health, the assessment of benefits and risks in CAM and conventional medicine, and influences on physician prescribing. She is part of a team led by Dr. Susan Mulroney that is assessing the renal and gastrointestinal effects of dandelion, and is part of an ethnobotanical research team led by Dr. Michael Balick of the New York Botanical Garden and Dr. Fredi Kronenberg of Columbia University.
