The Medical Center's Office of Communications represents and promotes the faculty, research, programs, students and policies of Georgetown University Medical Center to a variety of external groups.
We work with the news media to promote research and education at GUMC, and respond to reporters' inquiries for faculty expertise and institutional comment. We manage, maintain and determine the strategic direction of the Medical Center's website. We manage internal communications, and publish the monthly electronic newsletter GUMC Update.
The Office of Communications also provides communications consulting services and media training to faculty members.
