GUMC’s smoke-free policy is an expansion of the University’s current policy, which does not permit smoking within 25 feet from entries, outdoor air intakes, and windows of all university indoor locations. The medical center’s smoke-free policy increases the “no smoking” zone to the area within 25 feet of on-campus or off-campus GUMC owned or leased indoor locations, grounds or vehicles.
